$60 per Student Snack Fee is Due
If you have not yet paid, please leave check with staff at Enterprise (Upper School Front Desk). Check should be made out to “KDS Speech and Debate” with “snacks” in memo line.
This money is used to provide food for the Kent team at tournaments all season long. The tournaments can last 12 hours so we like to provide decently healthy food options for the team members. If you have trouble paying this fee, please contact Mike Bausch or Ian Hopkins.

Tournament Report – Greenhill Fall Classic in Dallas
Kent attended its first tournament in the prestigious national debate circuit last week. Kent turned in its best showing at the Greenhill tournament ever. Colorado has not traditionally been known as a heavy hitter in the national debate circuit, so the formidable showing by Kent certainly turned heads. Hats off to Coach Mike Bausch for guiding the two pairs representing Kent: Nick Krauss (18) & Jakob Kim (18), and Caden Joseph (19) & Jack Landgraff (20). Kent had victories over schools from Texas, California, Illinois, and Oklahoma. The results portend a strong season for Kent.

Start-Up Clinics
Sept. 10, 17, 23, Oct 1, 12-3pm @Kent

Start-up clinics are workshops where students can begin working on skills for the upcoming season. They are perfect for novice students to learn about different types of events so they can consider what they might want to focus on during competition season. They are also good for returning competitors to brush up on their skills. The clinics are drop-in style, no sign-up required. Coaches and team captains will be at the clinics to support team members.
